<p>The excess percussion energy of a penetration device for a fixing means, such as a nail, is recovered through a damping device (11) of elastic material; a pot-shaped housing (6) is disposed between a potshaped main body (2) and the percussion cylinder (12). It consists of a plastic material having a high internal damping, causing the excess percussion energy and the percussion noise to be greatly reduced within the housing (6). The worker is thus protected from unecessary disturbance and the housing (1) can be produced at a lower cost, more easily and with a greater efficiency. </p> |
