The unit is for the adjustment of the working rollers, of a roller frame consisting of support- and working-rollers. It has cylinder piston units engaging on the journals of the working rollers. At each roller end, a block is located, containing cylinder/piston units common to both working rollers. The units have one or two independent double-sided chargeable pistons and pressure medium feed pipes leading to the cylinder spaces separated by the pistons. The block contains an additional cylinder piston unit, connected to one of the feed pipes. The projecting piston rod has a lubricant channel which may be connected to a bearing inlet of the upper support roller.
