Method of carrying capacity improvement provides for defining physical and mechanical characteristics of ground foundation or peat beds by the depth of compressed layer height H, angle å of inner friction, c - specific cohesion, - bulk specific gravity, E0 - common distortion module, embankment land filling to a design thickness h or foundation embedding to the depth h of foundation when setting to limits not exceeding permitted values Sëñ[S], where [S] -permitted setting of foundation at corresponding carrying capacity of foundation not exceeding permitted value RëÑ(pav-h), where R -design foundation resistance to strength reduction, pav - average pressure from load affecting die when required activities are performed to consolidate foundation. Based on reduced dependencies of ground and peat at maximum elastic setting of ground and peat foundations, carrying capacity of foundation in maximum elastic state phase for embankments and strip foundations are calculated. Maximum angle of elastic embankment or foundation semi-contact with ground is calculated for ground and peat by reduced dependencies for phase state corresponding to the "first critical" load. Carrying capacity of foundation is calculated for ground and peat based on reduced dependencies at corresponding setting of foundation and at angles of embankment semi-contact with foundation for ground or peat. In case of round and multi-sided foundation describing r radius, foundation base is made as convex sphere with Rsph for values corresponding to phase states of foundation ¿=¿a and ¿=¿orI, pav=pr, s = and s = .
