PURPOSE:A strain in Cellulomonas, capable of producing glycerol dehydrogenase, is cultured to produce glycerol dehydrogenase efficiently. CONSTITUTION:A strain in Cellulomonas, capable of producing glycerol dehydrogenase, e.g., Cellulomonas flavigena IFO-3748, is inoculated in an enriched culture medium and cultured. Then, glycerol dehydrogenase is obtained from the cell bodies or a treated product thereof. |
