PURPOSE:To make a circuit inform an optimum replacement time of a primary battery, by providing a compensating circuit for compensate a temperature characteristic of electromotive force and discharge life, between the primary battery and a voltage detector. CONSTITUTION:Voltage (e) is introduced which has voltage-divided the terminal voltage of a battery 1 with the first voltage-dividing resistance circuit 3-1 and the second voltage-dividing resistance circuit 3-2 as an input of the voltage detector 2. The first voltage dividing resistance circuit 3-1 consists of a resistance element R1, and the second voltage dividing resistance circuit 3-2 is constituted of a series circuit cosisting of a thermistor Th which is an element having a negative temperature coefficient, and a resistance element R2. When the resistance values of the first and second voltage dividing resistance circuits are made R10 and R20, respectively, the voltage dividing voltage (e) which is input to the voltage detection circuit 2 is represented as a function of combined resistance R20. On the other hand, when the terminal voltage value of the battery 1 to generate an alarm is decided by a temperature characteristic of the battery, the specifications of the second voltage dividing resistance circuit required can be decided. According to such a constitution, it is possible to make the circuit inform an optimum replacement time of a primary battery. |
