Method of removing the considerable organic or inorganic substance as the odorous gas stream passes through the gas washer added to hydrogeneous suspensions of powdered activated charcoal of about 50 mg/l -20000 mg/l and biological solids of about 50 mg/l - 20000 mg/l. The biological solids are composed of mixed sol. obtained by an addition to the activated waste sludge or hydrogeneous suspensions of activated waste sludge to new waste water or water.
