PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of usage, by making the refresh operation and patrol operation in the same time. CONSTITUTION:Dynamic RAM elements 9-0-9-3, address counter 4 renewing the content every refresh, and a circuit making error detection and correction of readout data, are provided. The readout data including the error detection and correction code in the refresh area designated with the counter 4 is designated with the multiplexer 5 and the data designated when refresh is made is read out and fed to the error detection and correction circuit. As a result, the patrol operation and refresh operation can be made at the same time. |
