PURPOSE:To obtain the tone arm constituent with high elasticity, light weight and high internal loss, and improved temperature-resistant characteristics, by forming the tone arm constituent with mixed material including propylene and flake graphite power. CONSTITUTION:The tone arm constituent is formed with the kneaded material consisting of single polypropylene or the mixture of polypropylene and polymethylmethacrylate or optionally blended material of rubber such as nitiyl-butadiene rubber, butyl rubber with said synthetic resin, and flake graphite powder. Further, the coefficient of elasticity can remarkably be increased by orienting the flake graphite power along the surface of said kneaded material. The said synthetic resin increases the heat resistance than the molding material of polyvinyl chloride resin, and rubber material contributes to the increase in the internal loss because of its flexibility. |
