PURPOSE:To increase the access efficiency, by controlling the threshold value to the space of other block and preventing the induction of secondary and tertiary overflow, in storing the overflow record in the block on the file to be strored. CONSTITUTION:The data processor 1 gives the storage instruction of record to the storage address determining section 3 in the access managing device 2. The section 3 decides the 3 home blocks HB being the number of the storage block. Further, the block HB# is taken as #n, the readout of this block is instructed to the access execution section 4, the section 4 is instructed to the file control section 8 in the random access file device 7, and readout of the block #n on the memory 9 is made. After the end of readout, whether or not the overflow record has space to be stored in the block #n, is checked at the device 2. If no space is present, the space managing section 5 provides a threshold value and stores it in other block. |
