PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an exclusive use of control information line between a time-division switch control part and the unit of a time-division switch to be monitored, by using a time-division multiplex link for call signals for the transfer of control information and return information between the control part and the unit to be controlled. CONSTITUTION:Since control information consists of (n1+1)X8 bits, one piece of control information is multiplexed by control information multiplexing circuit 2 over control information channel (a) of n1+1 continuous frames of time-division mutliplex link 41 and sent to each highway. On the other hand, control information reading circuits 21-2m of respective highways monitor channel (a) at any time to read as control information the information of channel (a) for (n) frames after a start flag is detected, and then transfer it to highway control circuits 11-1m of respective highways. Return information multiplexing circuit 3i of highway (i) (i=1, 2...m) multiplexes the return information from control circuit li to time- division switch 1 over return information channel (b) of time-division multiplex link 4i. |
