PURPOSE:To enable high speed pickup without being subject to the effect of position shift, by the processing with graphic data of several points surrounding the graph, in the pattern matching device for the graph picking up the difference between two graphs. CONSTITUTION:The digital binary graphs A, B to be compared are transferred to the processing data pickup devices 5, 6 in time series every one point from the graphic memories 3, 4. The processing data pickup devices 5, 6 pick up the position to be compared and the graphic data around them and input them to the comparison and operation circuit 8, where the difference and presence of change between two digital graphic data are detected, and the result is stored in the graphic memory 9. A series of processings are made under the control of the comparison and operation control circuit 7 over the entire region of the graph, allowing to detect the difference and change between two graphs. |
