PURPOSE:To eliminate the phase deviation of P.S polarized light components produced by reflection by depositing a thin film having a refractive index larger than the refractive index of an optical guide transparent body on said transparent body and further a material of a smaller refractive index thereon. CONSTITUTION:A thin film 7 having a refractive index n1 larger than the refractive index n0 of a optical guide transparent body 1 and a material 8 having a smaller refractive index n2 than the refractive index n0 are successively deposited on the transparent body 1. It is made possible to add prescribed optical paths to optical beams 9, 10, and negative the deviation in the phases between the P polarized component and S polarized component produced at the time of reflection, by selecting the thickness of the thin film 7 and the refractive index n2 of the material 8 at the predetermined values. |
