PURPOSE:To make easy a mutual correspondence easily, by retrieving information of each GR of a retrieved memory with an address in common use between GRs, in a retrieval device providing an information retrieval group CR of two types or more, like translation job. CONSTITUTION:In the translation retrieval, English is arranged in alphabetical order, e.g., in GR41 of the data memory 4, and German is arranged in GR42 in the order of words corresponding to the case with GR41. The address represented in binary number of GR is made as the same for both the GRs for the lower rank bits except head one bit of GR42. The spelling of a word to be retrieved is introduced to the register 31 from the keyboard 1, the content of the memory 4 designated with the address register 43 is read out in the register 32 with the control of the control circuit 5 and until the content of the registers 31, 32 is in agreement, it is retrieved and the spelling of word is read out. When the designation key is depressed, addition is made to the most significant bit of the register 43, the address is changed from GR41 to GR42, and German word corresponding to English word is retrieved. |
