PURPOSE:To make it possible to accurately detect water-leaking location with less variation in pressure at the water-leaking position even at the time when flow rate was changed in water supply pipe, by pouring water into the water supply pipe for causing a change to inside of the water supply pipe. CONSTITUTION:Water supply pipes 12 and 13 are branched off from a water distributing pipe 11, and difference in pressure in the water supply pipes 12 and 13 at the terminal section is detected by a differential pressure detector 14. It is so arranged that water is able to be supplied from a water-pouring device 18 to the water supply pipe 13 through a flow rate detector 15. Measured values of the differential pressure detector 14 and the flow rate detector 15 are given to an operation indicating unit 19, and the water-leaking position 17 is detected by operation. When water is poured from the water-pouring device 18 to the water supply pipe 13, the flow rate becomes varied, and at the same time, the flow rate and difference in pressure between the water distributing pipe and the water supply pipe are detected, whereby it becomes possible to detect the water-leaking position. |
