PURPOSE:To perform stable toner conveying and developing even with the toner which has poor fluidity and is likely to flocculate by specifying the revolution ratio between the number of revolutions of a cylindrical magnet having multiple poles and a nonmagnetic cylindrical sleeve and providing a nonmagnetic plate for removing the toner. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic photosensitive drum 3 is rotated in the direction of an arrow (z). A cylindrical magnet 1 having multiple magnetic poles and a nonmagnetic cylindrical sleeve 2 are provided opposed to said electrostatic drum 3, and the images are developed by the toner on the sleeve 2. The magnetic toner 4 having passed between the sleeve 2 and the drum 3 moves in the direction of an arrow (y). The revolution ratio between the cylindrical magnet 1 and the sleeve 2 is kept at a ratio of 20 to 1. A magnetic toner layer 5 of a fixed thickness is formed on the sleeve 2, and contacts the drum 3 in a fixed area. This toner layer 5 is successively formed in the (x) direction, and is regulated with a nonmagnetic regulating plate 9. |
