The present disclosure is related to a measuring device of the photo-thermionic effect (PETE - photon-enhanced thermionic emission) to be used in the electric characterization of semiconductor materials that can be used for solar cells. The voltage differentiator will help accelerate electrons that capture the cathode and generate more energy in the form of electrons. The construction of the device is very cheap to produce and with a very simple manipulation.
