<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of explosion, etc. and simplify equipment by preheating a soot producing furnace up to predetermined temp. then changing over this to combustion for the purpose of soot production in the case of resuming the operation of the reducing furnace which has been taken out of service temporarily. CONSTITUTION:In the case of resuming the operation of a reducing furnace S, a reducing gas of rated temp. is supplied little by little to a supply pipe 1 by opening a valve 5, and the reducing gas supplied is increased in conformity with the temp. rising rate of the pipe 1; also, the circulating gas is raised of temp. in a gas heating furnace H. A pilot burner F provided to a soot producing furnace B is ignited and a natural gas NG is used for fuel and is burned perfectly by compressed air A. The waste gas thereof is mixed in the supply pipe 1. It is also possible to preheat the gas with the natural gas NG and the compressed air A in a preheating furnace P in parallel with this. When the soot producing furnace B attains the rated temp., the amount of the raw material natural gas is increased and an air ratio is rapidly lowered to shift the combustion to imprefect combustion. Thereby, the soot producing furnace B is risen with no particular adverse infuence until the reducing furnace S shifts to a steady state.</p> |
