A conveying device for displacing a load, preferably tree trunks, from one point to another and comprising a draw band which is clamped in place between the said points and the one end of which is connected to a winch and the other end of which is fixed by a resilient element to a counter-stay. The winch imparts to the band a reciprocating motion in the longitudinal direction thereof and thereby displaces one more drivers applied to the band. The driver 5 comprises a sleeve 12, which is slotted in its longitudinal direction and the slot 18 of which is wider than the thickness of the element but in which means are arranged for preventing the element from inadvertently passing through the slot. The driver 5 is provided with locking gear 16, which is arranged so as by wedge action, and in cooperation with elevations, for example rubber blocks 26, fixedly disposed on the element 3, to lock the driver 5 relatively in the element in its one motional direction and to release the element in the opposite motional direction. At any place on the element 3 an ejector 23 can be fitted, which ejector is arranged to displace the element, counter to the action of the said member 20, out of the driver and through the slot. <IMAGE> |
