Saw blades for cutting natural stone have a saw plate (1) which is fitted with diamond-studded cutting segments (2). To increase the cutting capacity of the saw plates (1), the cutting segments (2) are elastically attached to the saw plate (1), in which arrangement either these cutting segments (2) are fastened to a U-shaped flexible stirrup (5) or the fastening location of the cutting segments on the saw plate is of flexible design. A further increase in the stability of the saw blades can be achieved by the cutting segments (2) being of conically tapering design as viewed in cross-section, and in fact with such an angle of taper that the cutting face, rectangular in each case, of the cutting segment is displaced downwards as a result of the wear in such a way that this cutting face retains approximately the same height <IMAGE> |
