发明名称 SIMULTANEOUS ANALYZING METHOD OF COPPER AND LEAD IN COPPER ALLOY
摘要 PURPOSE:To simultaneously analyze copper and lead and to remarkably reduce the man power, time and cost, by performing electrolysis of solution of copper alloy dissolved with nitric acid to both cathode and anode through the use of platinum electrodes, and separating the lead peroxide to the anode and copper to the cathode. CONSTITUTION:Copper alloy is dissolved with nitric acid, undissolved material is filtered off (used for quantitative analysis of Sn), and electrolysis is made to the liquid to be measured which is obtained by evaporating and condensing the rinse liquid for the beaker and undissolved content together with the filtered liquid, by taking platinum electrode (preferrably of net cylinder shape) as cathode and anode. When the electrolyte solution indicates noncolor, the exposed parts of inner wall of electrolytic cell and the knob of electrodes are rinsed with a little amount of water, the liquid level of electrolyte is increased, and after electrolysis is made until the copper and lead peroxide are not separated with electrolysis, the electrode is picked up and the amount of increase in the weight of electrodes after rinsing and drying is measured. Thus, the amount of lead peroxide separated on the anode and the amount of copper on the cathode are measured, allowing to simultaneously and quickly measure copper and lead in the alloy.
