PURPOSE:To obtain the titled lid integrated with a soft surface layer using only a single set of inexpensive molds by a method wherein a soft synthetic resin coating material is coated on a cavity surface having a grain pattern, then a parison is introduced into the mold under the condition where the coated film is not cured, and air is blown into the cavity. CONSTITUTION:The soft synthetic resin coating material (a powder of soft vinyl chloride containing a plasticizer, etc.) is sprayed onto the inside surface of the hollow mold 1, 1 provided with the grain pattern on the inside surface thereof, to produce the semi-cured foated film 2. Under this condition, the parison 3 is introduced into the cavity between the molds, the molds are clamped, and air is blown into the inside of the parison 3 to inflat the latter 3, thereby obtaining the hollow glove compartment lid 6 which is integrally connected on its front side with the soft surface layer 5 having the grain pattern. |
