PURPOSE:To obtain the sufficient corona-proof effect even for wholly impregnated insulation by making a prepregnated tape by applying ultraviolet hardening resin to a tape with silicon carbide as a principal component wherein whole impregnation treatment is applied to a main insulating layer after bombarding ultraviolet rays by winding the prepregnated tape around a coil. CONSTITUTION:Silicon carbide is composed as a principal component and a resin component substance 1 consisting epoxy resin as a bonding material is applied to a fleshing material 2 to harden as far as B stage. Furthermore, ultraviolet hardening resin 3 is applied to the side becoming the surface of this tape to make a prepregnated corona-proof tape. The tape is wound around the external circumference of the unimpregnated main insulating layer 5 of a coil to harden the surface by bombarding ultraviolet rays and then whole impregnation treatment is applied to the main insulating layer 5. In this way, the bonding material for the corona-proof tape is not flowed out at the whole impregnation treatment. Therefore, sufficient corona- proof effect will be obtained even when the whole impregnation treatment is performed. |
