Antihypertensive compounds of the structure <CHEM> wherein n is the integer 1 or 2, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, when taken separately are independently hydrogen, unsubstituted alkyl containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, unsubstituted alkenyl containing from 2 to 20 carbon atoms, unsubstituted alkynyl containing from 2 to 20 carbon atoms, R6 and R7 taken together with the carbon to which R6 is attached and the nitrogen to which R7 is attached form a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic ring, the substituents being alkyl, substituted alkyl, alkenyl, hydroxy, amino, nitro, carboxy, carbalkoxy, aryl, heteroaryl, or heterocycloalkyl, and Y is =O, =S, -NR1-, R1 being the same as defined herein. |
