PURPOSE:To enable peeling to be accomplished easily and surely by forming a photoreceptor into a cylindrical body which is extremely thin-walled and is partially deformable by an external force. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 4 consists of an extremely thin-walled cylindrical body, and a photosensitive layer of zinc oxide-resin dispersion type is provided uniformly on the outside circumferential surface thereof. The photoreceptor 4 is supported by a supporting mechanism 20, and driving rollers 21, 21 are pivotally supported in the radius R position apart from the normal central position O. Press rollers 22, 22 make rolling contact with the outside circumferential surfaces of both ends of the photoreceptor 4, thereby grasping the photoreceptor 4. A stripping roller 23 which is a stripping deformation means is pivotally supported between a transfer device 8 and a cleaning device 9, and this roller 23 positions outer than the normal radius R; hence, in this part the photoreceptor 4 part is projecting from the other part, and the radius of curvature is smaller. In this part, copying paper P is stripped from the photoreceptor 4 by the rigidity of the paper itself. |
