<p>The two pole low voltage cut-out switch with a swinging armature (23) housed in the bottom of its housing (1) above a quick release device (24) has an actuator member (3) at the top. This moves downwards controlled by a release mechanism underneath, connected to an arm (22) attached to the armature. The actuator is moved downwards by the force of a spring (17) held inside its top, under the top of the housing. The actuator has arms (26) projecting sideways, which push moving contacts (8) away from fixed contacts (10) above them. Each moving contact has a horizontal arm which contacts the fixed contact, and a vertical arm. The actuator has a vertical part (4) which forms an insulating partition between these two vertical arms. The projecting horizontal arms (26) prevent a swinging action by the actuator, and the vertical arm has an extension at the bottom which travels in a guide groove (2) of the housing.</p> |
