<p>The pivoting support assembly is for the sprinkler boom of a road-sweeping vehicle, and comprises a first support (1) slewing on a first vertical axis (2), and a second one (4) on which the boom (5) is mounted and which is attached to the first by a set of parallel arms (6) of equal length hinging on both on horizontal axes (7). First and second actuators (8.9) slew the first support and move the second one up and down respectively. The boom slews on the second support on a second vertical axis (11), and two parallel arms (18,16) of equal lengths slew on the two vertical axes. One of the arms (16) is coupled to the boom, slewing with it about the second axis. A connecting link (19) hinges at its ends on the other ends of the arms by universal joints (20).</p> |
