The present invention relates to an EPUB electronic book service system and method capable of providing a service of large amount of EUB electronic book-related content in a service manner enabling linked content to be transmitted, on a real time basis, while maintaining the file in the original state without separating a file. The EPUB electronic book service system according to an embodiment of the present invention can: provide convenience in an electronic book management by providing an electronic book for a service, the electronic book including link information for a link with content constituting the electronic book and having minimized capacity by excluding actual content constituting the electronic book in a state in which the electronic book is stored in a web server without the need for separating a large capacity electronic book managed by a web server; save storage space of a user device; and simultaneously enable the user device to download or stream content to be read on a real time basis so as to be read, thereby quickly loading content to be read when the electronic book is read so as to improve the user's satisfaction when using the electronic book. |
