PURPOSE:To prevent any internal accident from developing and expanding to the more serious secondary disaster such as a fire by providing pressure-avoiding valves in the outside-wall parts of a tank, constituting convex parts with curved surfaces in the wall parts of a protecting case and thereby reinforcing the surrounding parts thereof. CONSTITUTION:The pressure-avoiding valves 16 are provided in the side walls of the tank 3 wherein the main body 1 of the oil electric apparatus and insulating oil 2 are housed. Inert gas 7 is filled up in the protecting case 6 covering the surroundings of the tank 3, while the convex parts 6A with curved surfaces projected outward are provided in the side walls of the protecting case 6 which are opposed to the pressure-avoiding valves 16 fitted to the side walls of the tank 3. When the pressure in the tank 3 rises, oil-tight blockade of the pressure-avoiding valves 16 is released. The gas and oil jetted out from the pressure-avoiding valves 16 collide with the convex parts 6A with curved surfaces of the protecting case 6. The impact force of the jetted gas and oil is shared by a reinforcing beam 17A or a connecting part 17B with the tank 3. |
