An electrical chopper type cut-out breaker is formed by a cut-out chamber 9 which is statically arranged on a base part containing a breaking chamber with two tilting breakers 5. The floor 1 of the base part carries an operating unit 13 which is common to the breakers. An extinguishing chamber 7 closes the otherwise outwardly open ends of the breaking chamber when the contact parts 6 of the breakers are moved. Thus, the chopper cut-out breaker is made up of four units interacting statically with each other, namely, the base part, the cut-out chamber, the extinguishing chamber and the operating unit. <IMAGE> |
