PURPOSE:To eliminate uneven wear of a piston pin, by coupling a piston pin rotating means to the piston pin. CONSTITUTION:A ratchet wheel 18 is fixed to a piston pin 11, and a ratchet gearing means 17 is fixed to the small end of a connecting rod 10 in the manner that the pawl of the ratchet gearing means 17 is held in engagement with the ratchet wheel 18. With such an arrangement, when the connecting rod 10 is reciprocated along with rotation of a crank shaft 2, piston pin 2 is made to turn only in one direction, so that uneven wear of the piston pin 2 can be eliminated. |
