<p>The irrigation equipment has a power-driven coiling mechanism comprising a hose drum mounted on a trailer and driven by a hydraulic motor. A sprinkler is connected to the free end of the hose and hauled in progressively as the hose is wound onto the drum during irrigation. The drum (1) is supported on a hollow fixed longitudinal horizonal spindle (8), fixed at the rear end to a transverse gantry (16,16a 16b) mounted on two wheels (18a,18b). The gantry and the spindle form the supporting structure of the trailer on which the drum is accommodated.</p> |
