PURPOSE:To improve productivity by performing fitting of plate-shaped terminals to the flanges of drum-type cores simultaneously and in a lot. CONSTITUTION:The plate-shaped terminals 7 and 8 are formed into a ladder- shaped hoop material 13 provided with connecting parts 11 and 12 at both ends thereof, while V-shaped notches 14 are formed in the plate-shaped terminals 7 and 8 in accordance with the amount of projection of the terminals 7 and 8, and the hoop material 13 thus prepared is incorporated on the flanges 2 of the drum-shaped cores 1 arranged on a straight line. On the joining surfaces of the plate-shaped terminals 7 and 8 of the hoop material 13 to a terminal fixture groove a bonding agent is transferred. After the bonding agent is set under the condition, the parts of V- shaped notches 14 are cut off by bending the connecting parts 11 and 12 and thereby separate drum-type cores 1 having the plate-shaped terminals 7 and 8 are obtained. Then, a coil is formed by giving a winding to the drum-shaped core 1 and the leads of the coil is soldered to the plate-shaped terminals 7 and 8, whereby the small-sized coil is constituted. |
