PURPOSE:To decrease operating part and improve copying capacity by irradiating a photoreceptor by the reflected light from a light source made of a light source and a lens in one piece, through a reflection mirror. CONSTITUTION:A light source 4 and a lens 6 are cinstituted into one piece, and advance along a linear guide 8. At the copying operation, the light from the light source 4 irradiates the original image onto a photosensitive drum 1 via a reflection mirror 5, the original on original glass 2, the lens 6, a reflection mirror 7 and a window 3. When the light source 4 and the lens 6 advance in the solid line arrow direction along the guide 8, the light from the light source 4 goes from the end to the end of the original in the route from the optical path shown by the solid line up to that shown by the dotted line, by which the original image is scanned, and an electrostatic latent image is formed on the photoreceptor 1. The image is copied by undergoing developing, transferring and fixing. On the other hand, when the scanning ends, the light source 4 and the lens 6 return to the home position in the direction shown by the dotted line arrow along the guide 8. |
