PURPOSE:To stabilize the operation of a vane pump, by making the intervals of adjacent two vanes fitted in a rotor equal to the length of a pump operating cam surface, and also making the instantaneous displacements at the opposite ends of the pump operating cam surface equal to each other. CONSTITUTION:The intervals between adjacent two vanes 3 fitted in a rotor 2 are made equal to the length of a pump operating cam surface C, and the instantaneous displacements at the opposite ends L, H of the pump operating cam surface C are made equal to each other. Since, with such an arrangement, changes in the volume of a confined space can be eliminated, it is enabled to prevent occurrence of a confined pressure and thus to stabilize the movement of the vanes 3. |
