PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. suitable for use in household room air conditions and household refrigerators and having excellent lubricating properties and wear resistance, by incorporating powdered tetrafluoroethylene resin into a base oil composed of naphthene mineral oil, paraffin mineral oil or an alkylbenzene. CONSTITUTION:0.01-10wt% powdered tetrafluoroethylene resin having a particle diameter of 20mu or smaller is incorporated into a base oil composed of naphthene nineral oil, paraffin mineral oil or an alkylbenzene or a mixt. thereof. When this lubricating oil compsn. for refrigerators is used for refrigerators, the powdered tetrafluoroethylene resin in a refrigerating machine oil together with the base oil migrates toward the sliding surface of compression zone, and a lubricating surface composed of the tetrafluoroethylene resin powder and the base oil is formed. Part of the powder is adsorbed by the concave part of the sliding surface to make the concave part smooth. Thus, lubricating surface is formed which is superior to conventional lubricating surfaces. The lubricating surface prevents the contact between metals. Excellent lubricating performance can be obtd. and wear resistance is improved. |
