摘要 <p>The alloy has the compsn. (by wt.) 6-13 (pref. 7-11)% Si, 3-6 (pref. 3.5-5.5)% Cu, 0.2-1 (pref. 0.25-0.6)% Mg, 0.3-1 (pref. 0.10-0.60)% Sb, balance Al and opt. 1.5% max. Fe, trace to 0.05% B, trace to 0.05% Be and one or more of trace to 1.5% Mn, trace to 1.0% Cr, trace to 2.5% Ni and trace to 0.3% Ti. The alloy has improved castability, toughness, heat resistance and thermal fatigue resistance than conventional alloys and is suitable for making machine parts, esp. pistons, pulleys and bearings. The alloy requires only a short ageing time so that thermal energy is saved.</p>
