<p>Good sound insulation is combined with air permeability, preventing dust eddying, but screening visually from outside, and providing stability and weather resistance, in fencing round an enclosed outdoor area, such as sports field or playground. Concrete foundation units (10) are established at regular intervals, with a boundary stone (15) and fence element (18,19) inserted between each pair. The stones are plugged into side cutouts (12) in them, and the fence elements are borne by posts (17) plugged into central cutouts in them. The boundary stones can be cast concrete units with an inlaid reinforcement of steel mesh. Polyurethane foam can be used in fencing.</p> |
