Bulk material vessel pneumatic discharge equipment - has separate supply system for top nozzles and bottom nozzles

The pneumatic discharge equipment is for a vessel of 3 to 30 cu.m capacity, which can be sealed, containing material in bulk, and having a bottom discharge funnel tapering to a pneumatic conveyor tube. A first set of compressed- air jet nozzles are mounted at intervals round the periphery near the bottom and a second set above them, all discharging into the funnel and connected to an external supply. The latter also serves an external compressed-air bottle, connected via short pipes and stop valves normally shut to the nozzles of the second set. Separate compressed-air supply systems are provided for the two sets of nozzles, each system having its own compressor with piping. The system for the first set of nozzles also supplies the pneumatic conveyor, being designed for a capacity of 5 to 10 cu.metres per minute at a working pressure of 1.5 to 2.3 bar. The system supplying the second set of nozzles has a capacity of 60 to 150 litres per minute at 5 to 9 bar working pressure.
