The present invention relates to an artificial turf with improved pullout strength while reducing coating amount and a manufacturing method thereof. The objective of the present invention is to provide the artificial turf and the manufacturing method thereof capable of improving pullout strength of a pile while reducing the coating amount of a coating agent by approximately 20% or more, by injecting the coating agent into a pile hole of a fabric sheet generated during tufting of the pile, and reducing and coating the coating agent coated on a lower plane of the fabric sheet uniformly and dispersively. The artificial turf of the present invention increases pullout strength while reducing the coating amount by fixing and supporting the pile by a hole fixing part and a coating fixing part doubly, by including: the fabric sheet; the pile forming a turf layer on an upper side by being tufted on the fabric sheet; the hole fixing part which is formed to fix the pile in the pile hole by the coating agent injected into the pile hole of the fabric sheet formed during tufting of the pile; and the coating fixing part which fixes the pile exposed to a lower lane by being unified with the hole fixing part by the coating agent coated on the lower plane of the fabric sheet. |
