Component module retaining chassis - has integral, adjacent and stacked drawer supports for modules, with connecting rear wall and plugs

The chassis is intended for easy assembly of frames and retaining electronic component modules using stable individual parts and facilitating easy replacement of the modules. It consists of integral drawer retainers, which can be arranged nest to each other and in a stack fashion. The retainers are intended for fixed, but exchangeable holding of the electronic component modules. The chassis has a connecting rear wall with electric plugs, the retainers being fitted with air ducts facilitating cooling. Pref. each retainer holds at least two electronic modules, typically in an on-edge arrangement. The retainers may be of 'U'shape, the U-opening forming the inserting side for the electronic frames. Appropriate ventilation chambers may be connected with ventilating slots in walls adjacent the electronic modules.
