PURPOSE:To enhance diagnostic precision by converting a solid sound generated by a bearing to an electric signal in the form of a speed acceleration signal, taking out only a frequency band required for diagnosis, obtaining an envelop wave-form and using as a scale for abnormality diagnosis a value obtained by a prearranged formula using the average square root value of a square of the envelop wave form and a peak value.
