<p>The process is for the shaping of axially supporting contact surfaces, on tubular plastics blanks, e.g. container bottles, etc. The surfaces are interrupted repeatedly by recesses, the shape of which coincides with the original diameter of the container at least partly. The recesses are uneven in number, and they are not positioned opposite to each other. The interrupting surface of each recess is so small that a tangent, contacting the base of the recess, extends to contact surfaces on either side.</p> |
