The light fitting has a reflector grille underneath the elongated lamp. The grille strips are of V-shaped cross section and connect two mutually inclined, parabolic reflector sheets. The strips upper side is covered with a reflecting strap (41) which carries reflectors (43), parallel to the lamp axis and of toothed-shaped cross section. Pref. two sections (41'), with oppositely directed reflectors, are provided on the strap approximately from vertical axis of the elongated lamp (2). The angle of inclination of the reflector surfaces, facing the lamp side, are smaller than that of the rear sides. The reflectors may be stepped according to the Fresnel principle in the approach to the arcuated mirror sections.
