Combustible gas generating reactor - with cyclone feeding fluidised bed to crack noxious components

A combustible gas is produced from fine to coarse grained and/or short-fibre fuels, specially of organic origin, in a reactor in which the fuel particles are introduced into a continuous fluidised bed of min. height. Gas and vapour prods. are kept in the bed for a min. residence time so that the gas components, which are capable of forming tar-like condensates, are cracked. This produces a gas, free from noxious components, at a much increased reaction output in smaller reactors.
