<p>Injection moulds, partic for plastics, have a cooling device which is a plug with at least one outer spiral for coolant flow, this plug is inserted and sealed in a bore in the appropriate mould tool. A gap remains between the plug and the bore wall, this gap is sealed off with an elastic seal. Plug can be easily withdrawn even after prolonged usage, neither withdrawal nor tight fit is affected by variations in the gap between plug and its holding bore, partic suitable for mould tool cores.</p> |
