Screening appts. for lumpy difficult-to-sieve material - has flexible double mat with larger openings over vibrating sieve mat to prevent clogging

The flexible operational screening mat (3) which is set in vibration is associated with a flexible double mat (4) which has larger openings (8) than the sieve openings (7) in the operational mat (3). The two mats (3,4) contact each other and move relative to each other with the double mat lying directly on the working mat. Owing to the relative motions and the different vibration characteristics the double mat whose openings are pref. larger than the max. particle size of the material being screened prevent the material from clogging up.
