<p>During operation, a drive assembly is encapsulated in a housing for deadening noise and affording operator protection. A cooling system, (10-22), with two circuits, serves for cooling the crank case (16) and cylinders (17) of the drive assembly (3) and for cooling the surface of this assembly. Ducts for cool air mechanically uncoupled at the transitions between the drive assembly (14,18) and housing (12,20), by use of elastic cushioning material (13,19). The surface cooling circuit may have a diagonally opposed intake and outlet in the housing.</p> |
