The present invention relates to a system for collecting a fishing net and a method for measuring the location of the fishing net using thereof. The system for collecting a fishing net comprises: a transmission apparatus including a water level sensing unit measuring a water level, a processing unit controlling the water level sensing unit and modulating water level information measured from the water level sensing unit, and a transmission unit amplifying the modified electric signals transmitted from the processing unit and transmitting the same and mounted on the fishing net; and an observation apparatus including a plurality of antennas receiving signals transmitted from the transmission unit and a control unit comparing and evaluating signals received from the antennas to calculate the transmission location. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fishing net collecting transmitter determining whether the fishing net is lost in water when the fishing net is suck below a predetermined reference water level and measuring the location of the fishing net to collect the lost fishing net.
