<p>The push-button switch combined with an indicator bulb and suitable for telephone equipment, is designed for adequate clearance for the fingers, with adjacent buttons. The housing is rectangular, with a chamber housing the bulb, with the push button projecting from its top. Adjacent to this is a second chamber with indicator markings on a cover at a lower level, and with the switch members underneath. The press-button has an arm projecting from the bottom, so as to enter the adjacent compartment to act against a fixed contact under the cover. The push-button is of transparent material and has a concave contact surface. The indicator marking is on a plate inset into the cover which is L-shaped, with a resilient vertical arm having a projection at the bottom which locates in a recess under one end of the housing. This gives access to the contacts in the chamber below.</p> |
