PURPOSE:To integrally bond an end cap with the end of a molding at the same time as the end cap is formed by a method in which the molding body whose end is coated with an adhesive is inserted in molds for an injection molding machine and then the end cap is molded by injection. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive adhesive is coated on the end part 13 of a molding body 11, the end part 13 is inserted in the molds of an injection molding machine, and a resin is injected into the molds to form an end cap 12. Thus, since the end cap is integrally formed at the end part of the molding, the fitting operation of the end cap can be eliminated and also no peeling of a decorating coat material 5, e.g., by metal vapor deposition, etc., occurs at the end part 13. This method is particularly applicable to the molding to be attached to the side body panel of automobile. |
